Run for India information sessions
Experience a runner's high, and support grassroots development projects in India!
Run For India is the annual marathon/half marathon training program of Association for India's Development (AID), Austin chapter. We train together for multiple 5K, 10K, half-marathon races and the Austin full-marathon in February. We have 25-30 runners every year, and together we raise close to $20,000 for different projects in India supported by the Austin chapter of AID!
Whether you are a first time runner, casual walker, seasoned runner, marathoner or half marathoner, we can provide a suitable training plan to help you achieve your fitness and running goals.
We specially welcome first-time runners! Our training program has been designed to provide a very gradual training regimen for novice runners. You will realize how much fun running can be!
For experienced runners, enjoy the company of other runners. You will certainly find someone running at your pace.
Join us for our information session on 22nd August at the UT campus or on 24th August at REI in downtown Austin. This is a FREE training program and we welcome everyone! So please invite everyone to this event, share the awesomeness.
Chai and snacks are on us! Hope to see you there :)
